Verified reviews and results on expert profiles

Let an organisation that worked with an expert leave a verified review and a concrete result, shown on the expert's profile. A way to choose on evidence rather than on a self-description.

Get public tenders suited to freelancers

Spot, among public procurement notices (BOAMP), the tenders open to a freelancer or a small collective, in my fields.

An up-to-date help centre and FAQ

A help page that explains each feature (directory, needs, messages, forum, roadmap) and answers frequent questions.

Advisors: offer a simple introduction

A lightweight listing type for advisors, with no salary and no application, just a "Contact" button to introduce an organisation they support to an expert.

Advisors: track replies to jobs posted for an organisation

See who replied to jobs posted on behalf of an organisation you support, make the introduction, then invite the organisation to take over its account.

Follow an employer and get notified of new jobs

From an employer's page, follow it to be told when it posts a new job or announces a funding round.

A 30-second questionnaire to find the right expert

For an organisation that struggles to put its need into words: a few quick questions, then a short list of suitable experts and resources.

A first version already guides organisations in describing a need; we are looking at how to make it shorter.

Job suggestions that understand what my profile means

Go beyond keywords: match jobs and profiles on meaning (an "advocacy officer" and a "public affairs manager" do the same job).

Decision at the end of October, once the first version of the match scoring has been measured.

Get notified when an organisation posts a need that fits me

When an organisation posts a need on Inpactum, experts whose profile fits are told directly, instead of waiting for them to stumble upon it.

Save my searches and exclude some companies

Save several named searches (for example "freelance data Lyon" and "remote product permanent") and hide, once and for all, the companies or sources I am not interested in.

Recommend a member or share a mission for one of my clients

Be able to post "I am looking for someone for one of my clients" or recommend a member for a mission, with a clear view of where each opportunity comes from. Opportunities brought by people, not only by robots.

Three members described it independently in interviews. We are testing it by hand before building anything.

Install Inpactum and get notified right away of a message or a reply

Add Inpactum to your phone's home screen or to your computer, without going through an app store, and get a notification as soon as a member writes to you or replies, even when the site is closed. Turn it on or off in your notification settings.

Planned for this autumn. Alerts for jobs that match your profile will follow through the same channel.

Filter the directory by "Can help with"

Now that everyone can say what they are looking for and what they can help with, be able to filter the directory on those topics to find the right person.

Opens once 40 public profiles have filled in this field, so the filter does not come up empty.

Get matching jobs by email

Instead of coming back to search /jobs, receive each week the jobs and missions that match my skills, contract type and area. It was the most requested item in the September survey.

Planned for this autumn, building on the match scoring already live on job listings.

A more forgiving job search

Search should understand "remote", "freelance", "permanent" or a region typed in the search bar, forgive a typo, allow several job titles at once, and suggest close matches when there are no results.

A better mobile experience

Actions reachable on directory cards, buttons that are easier to tap, a smoother side menu, and a more readable onboarding on small screens. 40% of visits come from phones.

Return to the same place in the list after opening a job

After opening a job and going back, the list jumped to the top. Browsing several jobs in a row was tedious.

Shipped on 17 September: the list keeps your position and marks jobs you have already seen. Requested in the September survey.

Say what I am looking for and what I can help with

Be able to state on my profile what I am looking for right now and which topics I can help with, so the right people come to me rather than the other way round.

Shipped on 21 September: fill it in on your profile; it shows on your page and in the directory. Introductions that come to you: 10 out of 11 survey answers.

Know where a job comes from and who to write to

Jobs arrived without any way to know where they came from or whom to contact at the employer to get a referral.

Shipped on 21 September: a page for every employer and a "Who to write to" card on job listings. Requested in the September survey.

Full job titles readable on mobile

On phones, job titles were cut after one line: you could not tell which role it was without opening the listing.

Shipped on 8 September: titles now span two lines. Requested in the September survey.

Notifications that open the right message

Clicking a reply or mention notification opened the channel, but not the message itself. You had to look for it by hand.

Shipped on 28 August: the notification opens the message and its reply directly. Requested in the September survey.

Prefill my profile from LinkedIn

Import my experience and skills from LinkedIn so I do not have to type everything again at sign-up, which feels long.
